Who Plays Barbie In The Barbie Movie

So, you're dying to know who's gonna strut their stuff as Barbie in the upcoming movie, huh? Well, grab your Dreamhouse keys, 'cause we're about to spill the beans!

Who's the Lucky Gal?

Drumroll, please! The honor has gone to none other than the incredibly talented and stunningly beautiful Margot Robbie. Yes, you heard it right! The Aussie actress who brought us the fierce and fabulous Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad" and "Birds of Prey" is now set to don the iconic blonde ponytail.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "But she's not a blonde!" Well, hold onto your chairs, folks, because Margot's not one to shy away from a challenge. She's already proven her acting chops by playing real-life figures like Tonya Harding and Queen Elizabeth I, so we're pretty sure she can handle a wig.

Why Margot?

Well, apart from being a fantastic actress, Margot's got the perfect blend of charm, wit, and charisma to bring Barbie to life. Plus, she's no stranger to playing strong, empowered women, which is exactly what Barbie's all about. And let's not forget, she's got the fashion sense to pull off those iconic outfits!

But here's where things get really interesting. Margot's not just starring in the movie; she's also producing it through her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. That's right, folks! She's not just playing Barbie; she's making Barbie happen. Talk about a power move!

What's the Movie About?

Alright, so we know Margot's our girl, but what can we expect from the movie itself? Well, it's still under wraps, but we do know it's being directed by Greta Gerwig, the genius behind "Little Women" and "Lady Bird". So, we're expecting something fresh, funny, and full of heart.

As for the plot, rumors have it that it might be a live-action musical. Yes, you heard it right! Barbie might just be singing her way onto the big screen. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm already practicing my "I'm a Barbie Girl" karaoke skills.
