Phoenix Rising

Now, you might be thinking, "Wait a minute! Jared Leto was the last Joker, wasn't he?" Well, yes, he was. But here's the thing - this new Suicide Squad movie is a soft reboot, which means it's a fresh start for the squad, and that includes the Joker.

And let's face it, after Phoenix's stellar performance in the 2019 Joker, it's hard to imagine anyone else pulling off that perfect blend of comedy and chills. So, we're more than ready to see what he brings to the table in this new iteration!

Phoenix's Joker: A Whole New Ball Game

Now, you might be wondering, "Will this new Joker be anything like the one we saw in Joker?" Well, that's the million-dollar question, isn't it?

Suicide Squad Joker

Here's the thing: while Phoenix's previous Joker was a gritty, realistic take on the character, set in a grimy, '80s-inspired Gotham, this new Joker is expected to be a bit more... well, comic-booky. Think less grit, more glitz, and a whole lot of that classic Joker chaos!

But hey, that's just speculation. Maybe Phoenix will surprise us all and give us something completely different. After all, he's Joaquin Phoenix - the guy's a chameleon!

What About Leto's Joker?

Alright, alright, we know what you're thinking. "What about Jared Leto's Joker? Is he just gonna fade into the shadows?" Well, that's a good question!

So, What's the Verdict?

Are you excited to see Joaquin Phoenix take on the role of the Joker in the new Suicide Squad movie? We sure are! It's gonna be a wild ride, that's for sure!

But hey, that's all we've got for now. Until next time, folks! Stay tuned, and remember - why so serious?
