How Many American Pie Films Are There

So, you're wondering how many American Pie films there are, huh? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to take a wild ride through the annals of teen comedy history. Grab your beer, your pizza, and let's dive in!

Where It All Began

It all started in 1999 with the original American Pie. You know the one - the film that made us all a little more cautious around apple pies and band camps. It was a cultural phenomenon, a rite of passage for a generation, and it left us with one burning question: "What's in the box?!"

But little did we know, that was just the tip of the... well, you know. The Pie-berg was about to get a whole lot bigger.

Pie-ning Down the Sequels

After the success of the first film, it was only a matter of time before the sequels started rolling in. And roll they did - like a bunch of Stiflers at a party. Here they are, in all their glory:

• American Pie 2 (2001) - The gang's back, and this time they're dealing with summer jobs, love triangles, and a certain someone's... ahem... "milkshake."
• American Wedding (2003) - Jim and Michelle tie the knot, and the whole gang crashes the wedding. Because, you know, that's what friends do.
• American Pie Presents: Band Camp (2005) - The first spin-off, focusing on a new group of teens and their... ahem... "musical" adventures.
• American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile (2006) - A new group of teens, a new college, and a whole lot of... well, you can guess.
• American Pie Presents: Beta House (2007) - Fraternities, hazing, and... yeah, you get the picture.
• American Pie Presents: The Book of Love (2009) - The final installment in the spin-off series, where our new friends learn about... well, love.

Phew! That's a lot of Pie. But wait, there's more!

Pie-ning It All Together

In 2012, the original gang reunited for American Reunion. That's right, Jim, Michelle, Oz, Finch, and even... Stifler were all back together again. It was like a high school reunion, but with more... ahem... "celebrating."

And then, in 2020, the Pie-berg got a little bit bigger with the release of American Pie Presents: Girls' Rules. A new generation of teens, a new set of... ahem... "rules," and a whole lot of Pie spirit.

All American Pie Films In Order

So, there you have it - a grand total of eight American Pie films. Eight films filled with laughter, love, and... well, you know. It's been a wild ride, hasn't it?

But hey, who's counting? As long as there are teens, there will always be Pie. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
