How Old Was Sutton Foster In Younger

Sutton Foster's Age in 'Younger': A Fun Fact You Might've Missed!

Alright, so you're probably wondering why we're talking about Sutton Foster's age in 'Younger', right? Well, stick around, because this isn't just a trivial tidbit. It's a fun fact that'll make you appreciate this show and its leading lady even more.

First things first: Who's Sutton Foster?

If you're a fan of musicals, you probably already know her. Sutton's a Broadway superstar, with a resume that's longer than your grocery list. She's played iconic roles like Millie in 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' and Reno in 'Anything Goes'. But for those who haven't had the pleasure of seeing her live, she's the star of 'Younger', the hit TV series about a 40-something woman passing herself off as a 20-something to reboot her career.

Now, about that age thing...

Here's where it gets interesting. 'Younger' premiered in 2015, and Sutton was playing Liza Miller, a 40-year-old pretending to be 26. But here's the kicker: Sutton herself was 39 when the show started. Can you believe it? She was practically playing her own age, just with a few added years!

Think about it like this: It's like when you wear your favorite pair of jeans that make you feel like you're 21 again, even though you're pushing 40. You know, the ones with the faded knees and the perfect amount of stretch. That's Sutton in 'Younger' - she's just rocking her '20s jeans, acting-wise.

Plus, it's a reminder that age is just a number. Sutton's proving that you can reinvent yourself at any age, just like Liza does in the show. It's like when you decide to learn a new skill, like cooking or painting, and suddenly you're not just 'that person who can't boil an egg', but 'that person who makes amazing soufflés'.
