Meet the Squad

Right now, we've got a whole squad of lovable characters hanging out in those happy meal boxes. Let's give 'em a round of applause, shall we?

Pikachu and the Pokémon Crew

Yep, you heard it right! Pikachu and his pals are taking over McDonald's. They're on a mission to catch 'em all - and by 'em, we mean happy meals, of course!

Now, here's a fun fact for you: Did you know Pikachu's name comes from a mix of 'pika' (the sound of a mouse's squeak) and 'chu' (short for 'chū', meaning 'mouse' in Japanese)? How's that for a mouthful?

Sonic the Hedgehog - The Blue Blur

Speeding through the happy meal scene is none other than Sonic the Hedgehog! This spiky, blue speedster is ready to make your meal a whole lot faster.

And get this - Sonic's favorite food is chili dogs. I mean, who wouldn't want to chow down on a juicy chili dog after a long day of saving the world from Dr. Eggman?
