Cast Of The Big Bang Theory Tv Show

Hey There, Big Bang Theory Fans!

Ever wondered who's behind the laughs on our favorite sitcom, The Big Bang Theory? Let's dive in and meet the cast that's made us laugh (and cry a little) for over a decade. Grab a cup of coffee, get comfy, and let's chat about these awesome folks.

Meet the Brainiacs

At the heart of the show are our favorite physicists, Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper. Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons bring these brainy besties to life. Johnny's been acting since he was a kid, you might've seen him in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! Jim, on the other hand, is a theater kid at heart, and his portrayal of Sheldon has earned him four Emmy Awards. These two are like the peanut butter and jelly of The Big Bang Theory, and we can't get enough of their bromance.

Now, who could forget the love of Leonard's life, Penny? Kaley Cuoco plays our aspiring actress turned pharmaceutical sales rep with such charm, it's hard not to love her. Kaley's been acting since she was just 6 years old, and she's come a long way from her Larry Sanders Show days. She's also a total animal lover, so if you're into that, give her a follow on Insta.

And then there's Amy Farrah Fowler, Sheldon's perfect match. Mayim Bialik plays this neurobiologist with such wit and intelligence, it's like she was born to play the role. Mayim's actually a neuroscientist in real life, so she brings a lot of authenticity to the character. She's also a mom of two, which makes us love her even more.

Supporting Cast: The Dream Team

No show would be complete without a fantastic supporting cast, and The Big Bang Theory has one of the best. Simon Helberg and Sara Gilbert play Howard Wolowitz and Leslie Winkle, the show's resident womanizer and his sometimes love interest. Simon's a theater kid turned comedy genius, and Sara's been acting since she was a kid too, with a stint on Roseanne under her belt.

Then there's Kunal Nayyar as Raj Koothrappali, the astrophysicist with a crippling fear of women. Kunal's a total charmer, and his comedic timing is on point. He's also a published author, having written a book about his experiences on the show called The Taming of the Shrewd.

And how could we forget Steve Urkel... I mean, Wayne Brady as Barney Stinson's brother, Bazinga! Wayne's a total legend, with a career spanning TV, film, and Broadway. He's also a huge fan of the show, so when he got the call to join the cast, he was over the moon.
