How Did Chris Kyle The Sniper Die

So, you're wondering, "How did Chris Kyle, the legendary sniper, kick the bucket?" Grab a coffee, let's chat.

First off, let's set the stage. Chris Kyle, right? The guy who wrote "American Sniper," racked up over 160 confirmed kills, and was practically a one-man army. He was a beast, no two ways about it.

Now, you'd think with all those kills, he'd go out in a blaze of glory, right? Like, maybe taking out a whole squad of bad guys single-handedly? Nope. Life's funny like that.

Enter Eddie Ray Routh

Picture this: Chris Kyle, retired from the SEALs, is at a shooting range with his friend Chad Littlefield. They're helping out a vet, Eddie Ray Routh, who's struggling with PTSD. Chris, being the stand-up guy he is, is trying to give him a hand.

Now, here's where the story takes a dark turn. Routh, instead of appreciating the help, snaps. He shoots both Chris and Chad. Just like that. No grand finale, no epic battle. Just... gone.

Why, though?

Who knows, right? Routh claimed voices told him to do it. PTSD's a nasty business. But that's not what we're here to talk about. We're here to talk about Chris Kyle, the man who died doing what he believed in - helping others.
