First Things First: The Originals

You can't go wrong starting with the classics, so let's kick things off with the original Planet of the Apes (1968). Directed by the legendary Franklin J. Schaffner, this flick is a must-watch. It's got Charlton Heston, talking apes, and a twist ending that'll leave you saying, "You maniacs! You blew it up!"

Next up, we've got Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970). This one's a bit darker, with a human resistance and a mysterious force that's not quite... human. Let's just say, it's a blast. Pun intended.

Time for a Remake

Alright, so we've caught up with the originals. Now, let's fast forward to 2001. That's right, it's time for the remake. Directed by Tim Burton, this one's got some serious star power with Mark Wahlberg and Helena Bonham Carter. It's a bit different from the original, but it's still a fun ride.

But wait, there's more! The real game-changer is just around the corner...

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)
