When Will Ziva Come Back To Ncis

Hey there, TV buffs! Let's dive into the world of NCIS and the question that's been keeping us on the edge of our seats: When will Ziva David come back? Grab a cup of coffee, get comfy, and let's chat about it.

Recap: Ziva's Exit and Re-entry

If you've been living under a rock (or just binge-watching something else), here's a quick recap. Ziva, our favorite Mossad agent turned NCIS team member, left the show in season 11. She faked her death and disappeared to protect her family. But lo and behold, she made a surprise comeback in season 16, episode 10, "She".

Her return was as dramatic as her exit, with Ziva appearing to Gibbs in his basement, claiming she needed his help. Fans were over the moon, and the episode became one of the most talked-about in NCIS history. But then, just like that, she was gone again. Boo!

So, When's She Coming Back?

Alright, let's get down to business. The big question on everyone's mind is: When will Ziva grace our screens again? Well, here's what we know so far.

Cote de Pablo, the actress who plays Ziva, has hinted that she's open to returning. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she said, "I think Ziva's story is not over yet. I think there's more to tell." Music to our ears!

Showrunner Steven D. Binder has also teased that Ziva's story isn't finished. In an interview with TVLine, he said, "We left her story open for a reason." But, he also cautioned, "We don't want to do it just to do it. We want to do it if we have a really good story to tell."

What About That Cliffhanger?

You might be wondering about that cliffhanger ending. Ziva asked Gibbs to "tell him everything" and mentioned a "plan". Fans have been speculating like crazy about what this could mean. Could it be related to Ziva's past, her family, or maybe even Gibbs himself?

It was only moved up due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So, maybe that cliffhanger was meant to keep us guessing over the summer, not just a few weeks!

What Can We Do While We Wait?

Waiting for Ziva's return is tough, we get it. But here are a few things you can do to pass the time.

Brush up on your Hebrew. Ziva's native language is Hebrew, and she often speaks it in the show. Why not use this time to learn a few phrases? You never know when it might come in handy. Plus, it'll make you feel like a real spy.

Final Thoughts

So, there you have it. We don't know exactly when Ziva will be back, but we do know that her story isn't over yet. And isn't that enough to keep us going?

In the meantime, let's remember why we love Ziva so much. She's fierce, she's smart, she's got a dry sense of humor, and she's got a past that's as complicated as it is intriguing. She's a character that's easy to root for, even when she's making tough decisions.

And isn't that a reflection of real life? We all have our own stories, our own pasts, our own challenges. But we keep moving forward, hoping for the best, and sometimes, getting the surprise of a lifetime. Here's to Ziva, and here's to hoping she's back on our screens soon.
