Who Is In The Movie The Holiday

So, Who's Starring in 'The Holiday'?

Ever found yourself wondering who's behind the magic of that feel-good festive flick, 'The Holiday'? You're not alone, buddy. Let's dive in and meet the cast that's been spreading Christmas cheer since 2006.

Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz: The Leading Ladies

At the helm of this romantic comedy are two powerhouse actresses, Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. You might know them from their iconic roles in 'Titanic' and 'There's Something About Mary', respectively. In 'The Holiday', they swap homes (and lives) across the pond, from a cozy cottage in England to a glamorous LA pad.

Winslet plays Iris, a British woman with a broken heart and a love for romantic comedies, while Diaz is Amanda, a high-powered LA movie executive with a knack for dating losers. Sound familiar? It's like they're playing two sides of the same coin, and we're all here for it.

Jude Law and Jack Black: The Love Interests

Now, who could resist playing the love interest to these two leading ladies? Enter Jude Law and Jack Black. Law plays Graham, a charming and successful author who's got Iris swooning in no time. Meanwhile, Black is Miles, a quirky and lovable music composer who helps Amanda see the light (and the fun) in life.

Law's smooth British charm is the perfect remedy for Winslet's heartache, while Black's comedic timing and goofy dance moves make Diaz's character fall head over heels. It's like watching a real-life rom-com fairytale unfold.

Eli Wallach and Rufus Sewell: The Supporting Cast

But wait, there's more! This ensemble cast wouldn't be complete without the legendary Eli Wallach as Arthur, Iris's wise and witty grandfather. Wallach, who passed away in 2014, was a Hollywood veteran with an impressive resume that includes 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'. His performance in 'The Holiday' is a delightful reminder of his talent.

And let's not forget Rufus Sewell as Rod, Amanda's sleazy and demanding boss. Sewell's portrayal of this unlikable character is so convincing, you'll find yourself cheering for his downfall. It's like watching a villain you love to hate.
