Why the Wait?

You might be thinking, "What took them so long?" Well, friend, creating a masterpiece like Stranger Things isn't as easy as closing the Upside Down portal. The pandemic played a significant role in the delay, with production starting in early 2021 and wrapping up later that year.

But hey, good things come to those who wait, right? And let's not forget, the Duffers and their crew were busy crafting a whopping nine episodes for this season – that's more Stranger Things than ever before!

World Premiere Vibes

Now, you might be wondering, "Where was I when this epic event happened?" Well, if you were lucky enough, you could've been at the world premiere in Mexico City on May 14, 2022. That's right, the cast and crew jetted off to the vibrant city to celebrate the launch of the new season.

Picture this: the gang walking the red carpet, fans screaming their lungs out, and the sweet, sweet smell of tacos wafting through the air. Sounds like a dream, huh? Unfortunately, for us mere mortals, we had to wait a little longer to get our hands on the new episodes.

Binge-Worthy Fun

But wait, there's more! Season Four of Stranger Things was released in two volumes – talk about a cliffhanger masterclass! Volume One dropped on May 27, with Volume Two following suit on July 1, 2022. It was like an early Christmas present, wrapped up in two delicious parcels!

And let's not forget the epic runtime of Volume Two – a hefty 2 hours and 19 minutes! That's right, it was like a feature-length movie, perfect for a cozy movie night (or three).

Quirky Facts and Funny Details

Now, you might be thinking, "I've heard enough, just tell me something weird and wonderful about this season!" Well, you're in luck, my friend. Did you know that the Demogorgon mask from Season One was used as a reference for the Vecna design? Talk about a spooky throwback!

And how about this for a funny detail – the cast and crew had to sign non-disclosure agreements to keep the plot under wraps. That's right, not even the stars knew what was happening until they read the scripts! Can you imagine the suspense?
